parrot I just picked up yesterday. >> Yeah, that's what I've been hearing all morning. >> Give me a cracker, idiot. >> I don't even have crackers. >> Dumb human. Kiss my tail feathers. >> So, is there anyone out there that needs a parrot? >> Well, the end of an era is here. The end of the era of Sora. So, Sora was OpenAI's AI video generation platform where you can have your own likeness and other people, celebrity, etc. And you can make them do kind of whatever you want with the magic of AI video. As an example, >> stacking up rubber band snap on. Let the bank roll clap. Gold on [music] my neck. Let the light reflect. Wallet so heavy it's breaking my step. >> Cash in the air like storm on Q. Green on my palm and it's sparking like you. Never been. >> Hey, I feel like that's pretty good. All right. And now some of us have not been taking it too well. >> It took you so young. So young. WHY? [screaming] [laughter] >> SO, I'd like to play a few clips for you that I really enjoyed either making or just seeing out there created by some of you. But just a few quick notes about why OpenAI decided to shut down Sora. First and foremost, it does seem like a little bit of a pivot by OpenAI to kind of uh cancel all the side quests, if you will, and focus on the main thing. Bill Peeles, Open EI's head of Sora, he described the new mission for the team as building systems that deeply understand the world by learning to simulate arbitrary environments at high fidelity. So that's not going to be a consumer video app. That's going to be more something like simulating the world probably for training robots. It's a physics simulation engine for robotics. And Sam Alman confirmed this saying that this team will focus on world simulation research, especially as it pertains to robots. And as you'll see, this will be a little bit of a theme moving forward. OpenI is focusing on and talking more about the economy. Open say that the new models that they'll be releasing will automate a lot of the economy. So, we'll talk about that in a separate video, but I figured since going away and we're not going to have access to these videos at some point. Let's just take a look at a few of them, shall we? Let me know what you think. >> Hold still for me. We're going to put a little bit of sky right here on your cheek. >> Why is this happening? >> Nothing to worry about. Happy little colors, that's all. >> I did not agree to this. >> It'll be fine. Let the paint do the talking. >> Seriously, why is this happening? >> Clarice, you step in here smelling of rain and good intentions. It dances. You know, it makes me want to sing. I'm only here for it. >> All right, we're on dust 2. One of the most iconic layouts in gaming. I'm starting here at mid. Walking through these sunbaked alleys. You can see the faded paint and the wires criss-crossing above. Everything funnels toward catwalk just behind me. This red be >> mugs. This test due by noon. Open up chat GPT. >> I had the study guide, but I used it as a bookmark. It was a long chapter. Never mind. Give me that keyboard. This key? >> No, the whole thing. >> I was typing first. >> I GOT HERE BEFORE YOU. WATCH IT. CUT IT OUT. HAND IT OVER. >> MOVE. But don't knock him over this time. Hey. No. >> That's not for eating. Give me that. You can't just steal the bishop. Okay. Back where it belongs. You leave it there. All right. Nope. Nope. Paw off. We're trying to play here. I can't win a single game with you if you keep doing it. >> We're testing a tool called Roy where you live an entire life in a simulation. Coming out of it can be A BIT JARRING. >> WHERE AM I? WHAT HAPPENED TO MY WIFE AND KIDS? WHO are you? >> Ma'am, let's >> Wait. No, no, no, no. That thing right there, that Pikachu in the sunglasses is not real. >> Ma'am, come on. Let's go. >> You all can sit here if you want, but I'm telling you. >> Let's step off the plane on the river. There's a big guy sliding up alongside me. Hey, buddy. All right. Look at that armor. You want a treat? I brought some cherry Garcia for you. There we go. Slow and easy. Good boy. Guess we're both having dessert on the water today. >> We're out at the barn and I'm going to show you how to handm milk a cow >> into a bucket. First thing, slide that bucket under the udder and make sure she's calm. [laughter] Wrap your thumb and forefinger at the top of the teet. Then roll the rest of your fingers down just like this. Ground. I can feel the echo of a [music] lonely sound. Take me back to the days we burn. When the city lights crash and turn, I won't fade, I won't [music] break. Still screaming through the static. >> It was nice when he would remind people to get to sleep early on Twitter, but this is getting weird. >> Go to sleep. Now, >> you come to me with respect. I give you my word. But loyalty, that's the currency that never loses value. >> I understand, Mr. Jackson. >> Then we're family now. And >> I built this road from ashes. I walked [music] it all along, [screaming] but every step >> block in the airship should be in sight. [music] If the guild scouts haven't beaten us there, >> they'd need better boots than these to keep up. >> Or lighter baggage. You're the one hauling the [music] core, remember? >> And you're the one with All right, we're out here in Teldrasal, the night elf starting zone. The whole place sits on the back of a giant world tree, so everything has this soft purple glow and that cool resin and pine smell in the air over here. Check out that steps. N one block past the script. I got circuits in my mind, but the heart's still legit. Spitting bars about AI watches in the code. Algorithmic heavyweight see me overload. They train in my voice but can't sample the pain on the human and the loop keep the pulse in the chain predictive in >> step through the front gates of Organar and the scale of this place is unreal. These walls are carved right out of the canyon and plated with spikes behind me. That orc guard over my shoulder looks like he could bench press. >> The only way to get rid of a temptation is to yield to it. Resist it and your soul grows sick with longing for the things it has forbidden to itself. That's flawless logic. >> How does Sora impact your mood? You were under arrest for hitting thumbs down on Ipsora. It's affecting your mood. >> What? That can't be real. >> Turn around. Hands behind your back. >> Come on. I just now. >> All right. All right. Inside the Brotherhood of Steel's main workshop, and it is incredible. Everywhere you look, there are suits of armor, tools, and people keeping them running. This is one of the T60s fully serviced and ready to go. Thanks for letting me take a peek. Happy to show you around. out here on the deck. You can see the AI did it. Hey, I did it. Precision [music] [music] has always been my language. Every line, every stitch, every decibel, exactly where I want it. That's why we built this. The Wes Roth edition 600 horsepower twin turbo V8. >> It's hard to run through fire tonight. >> This is getting out of hand. >> Smile. Keep moving. They're here again. >> Ignore them and stay on mission. Your celebrity circus is blowing our cover. Paparazzi crowds. Every step we take is a security risk. Mean you're trending in 12 countries. >> Stay down. >> Hexreer wins.
